Jun 11, 2013 · Wharfedale is Britans oldest Loudspeaker manufacturer that has been around sinece the 1930's. So they have made many, many speakers over the decades; some real gems and some dogs. They also make many lines of speakers in any given model year ranging from bargain basement junk to world class top of the line.

Apr 23, 2022 · I haven't experienced the Wharfedale, but my KEF's are not fatiguing at all. They have excellent positioning and benefit a lot from proper toe-in. They are not punchy in bass, they have a musical, tight bass. The downsides are more aesthetic. I bought the white finish and from 10 feet they look fine, but any closer they look like cheap.

Dec 25, 2023 · Maybe something like the RM600 Even the Evo's from Wharefdale, using the AMT style tweeter, do tend to be warmer. Somehow Wharfedale got that AMT to behave within Wharfedales sound. I have the Wharfedale EVO 4.1's and they are a quite well behaved speaker, and have the ability to fill a small to medium sized room well.

For me, about 100 hours. Wharfedale tend to be very smooth mellow Low Fatigue speakers, and I found them excellent for music, but for movies, the Mid/High is a tiny bit too recessed ...
