Nov 27, 2014 · The trip from CA to Monument should run about 5 hours, which isn't bad, but the sectional drives me nuts. I don't see a reference to Monument VAlley there. I can see the airports you're referencing, but not the valley.

At full moon, special night tours travel into the valley. Gouldings, across Highway 163, offers lodging and tours. Antelope Canyon. From Monument Valley we traveled west through the reservation to Antelope Canyon, near Page, in Arizona. Antelope Canyon has been on my list of things to see for years for it is a photographer's paradise.

May 17, 2011 · Welcome! Monument Valley to Zion is 270 miles via Kayenta, US-160 to AZ-98 to Page, then US-89 to UT-9. This is about a 5.5 hour drive and does not take you through Cameron.

Highly priced but worth it for the view alone. $5 per person as entrance fee to Monument Valley (as it's a reservation NOT a state park the annual pass does not cover entrance here).

Nov 14, 2012 · Then from GC take 160/163 to Monument valley and 191 to Moab for Arches and possibly Canyonlands NP's. The route could be driven in 2 days at a push, so breaking it down into smaller sections and spending some time from the car sight seeing should give you chance to get a good overview of the area.

I got some great suggestions and feedback from some of you guys on here that went a long way towards helping us sort out our itinerary.
