What's going on with the footpod availability? - Garmin Forums
The "classic" Garmin Foot Pod (Garmin 010-11092-00) has been unavailable and removed from the Garmin website for 1 or 2 months now. (I am talking about the classic foot pod, NOT the RD waist pod!) I know that there are rumors of a new Foot Pod model but these rumors have been around since July (more than half a year ago) and there is still nothing.
Pairing Garmin Foot Pod SDM4
The foot pod needs to be woken up to transmit antyhing, so make some vigorous steps with the foot pod attached to your shoe. And I assume you've made the pairing process first, have you? If this does not help, then perhaps the new battery is no good, so try another one, or perhaps the SDM4 is broken, which is unlikely, but not impossible, either.

Garmin Footpod Issues - fēnix 6 Series - Wearables - Garmin Forums
The Garmin SDM4 foot pod will indeed have different calibration factors for different scenarios. I found running on hard flat surfaces I needed around 92.0, whereas running on soft muddy surfaces 94.0 was better.
Foot Pod - vivoactive 3 Series - Garmin Forums
The Garmin foot pod should work just fine with the VA3. I've only used it a couple of times with this watch but had no problems with it. If you haven't run outside with the foot pod paired to the watch with Auto Calibrate turned on it will be using a generic profile to gauge the treadmill pace which more than likely doesn't match the way you run.
Best Accessories & Sensors for Garmin Devices - Garmin Forums
Oct 21, 2024 · There are no Garmin foot pods (apart form old ones if you are luckily enough to find them) RD Pod is for the waistband (not foot)and basically does the same as the HRM-PRO Plus as regards running dynamics, so you dont need that and the strap. Most newer Garmin watches report Running dynamics (apart from ground Contact Time balance) from the ...
Stryd vs Run Dynamics Pod vs don’t bother - Garmin Forums
I used the RD Pod for quite awhile and liked it a lot. I already knew from shoe wear that there was a difference between how my feet differed in how they landed but that was it. The Ground Contact Time I got from the pod told me I spent more time on my right foot than the left but that didn’t really tell me why that was or how to correct it.
Running Dynamics Pod or Foot Pod? - Garmin Forums
The RD Pod overrides the running dynamics from the HRM-Tri, and the foot pod overrides both for cadence. It may be a strangely redundant combination, but it works perfectly fine. The RD measurements from the RD pod differ from those from chest HR straps that provide RD, so if you have both, don't forget to take the RD pod, or you'll have ...
Replacement foot pod shoe clip - Garmin Forums
This is pure dysfunctional obsession on my part, but I lost a shoe clip and am looking for a new one. I use a clip from a Tempe now, and could buy a 3D printed one, but I would really like to buy the original clip. I saw the (compatible) Suunto Foot Pod Mini Shoe Clip sold in some places but either the price or the shipping cost is really high.
Treadmill inaccuracies with Foot Pod? - Garmin Forums
I'm using the Garmin Forerunner 945 (SW 4.00) and the Garmin Foot Pod. I have run outside with both hundreds of miles over the last six months. Occasionally I travel for work, and I've found the use of the Foot Pod on a treadmill to be extremely helpful. Recently something has changed.
