The Jaguar Cowling is a completely new, all fiberglass cowling (not just a nose bowl with round inlets; AKA LoPresti Nose Bowl). The Jaguar Cowling was designed from the beginning with four goals in mind: 1) make the Tiger faster; 2) provide better cooling; 3) make removal and installation a simple 10 minute job; 4) and make it possible to repair in case it gets damaged.

Kind of cute isn't it. Clean. Simple. Easy to install. No more FOD trapped in the rubber boot. As you can see, I started this in 2012. During flight testing, at 75% power, 1000 ft MSL, this fairing was up to 90 degrees cooler than the boot.

A real parking brake. . Redux: In 1998, I installed the line-lock style parking brake from a later (1978 and newer) Tiger. See below. In this ground up restoration of a 1977 Cheetah (the worlds most expensive Cheetah), also got an upgrade to the parking brake.
