It is better to use liquid chlorine or convert to a saltwater pool. The frog system is not recommended as noted by others.

Jul 12, 2013 · No more $100 "mineral pac" to open the pool (the minerals are copper and silver by the way, not quite the natural minerals I want to swim in), and no more overpriced trichlor pacs either. Jun 26, 2013 · Hi John, I have an inline chlorinator - similar to pool frog, just a different brand (Aqua Smarte). I took the Bac Pac/Mizer Pac that contained the chlorine tabs (The one that came with the system after it was used up) and cut it in half.
