Feb 11, 2022 · The shihakusho is only like second to the zanpakuto in terms of how fundamental it is to the soul society. Every shinigami has a zanpakuto and a shihakusho. Idk if they have any special powers but it’s pretty important to a shinigami especially compared to some healing techniques and mod souls.

As for the Mod Souls, maybe they just needed a little soul-searching to find their true calling. And as for Kisuke and Yoruichi abandoning their Shihakusho, well, sometimes it's good to change outfits and keep things interesting.

Oct 21, 2022 · In Dangai Ichigo, the part of his right arm that would have the Shihakusho is instead covered by the Chain. That is just as much a part of Tensa Zangetsu as the Shihakusho is. And in FGT, the bandages and the shadows represent that part - and we could theorize that the naked left arm is the consequence of Ichigo getting his arm fried by Aizen.

Oct 8, 2022 · The Shihakusho was invented by Senjumaru over a thousand years ago, who then got promoted to the Royal Guard for it. Before then, Shinigami presumably just wore whatever they wanted, and some still do, like Urahara and the Visored.

Sep 28, 2022 · Not to argue with your point, the uniform is likely valued for propaganda purposes, but Ichigo’s case seemed special to me. He probably got his shihakusho the same way he got his first zanpakuto, like it wasn’t actually supposed to manifest like that. When Ichigo explains how his shihakusho works Unohana seems surprised.

Gamuza keeps Nel's rags, but also adds black sleeves. Besides the mask or armor, do the Arrancar develop their own Shihakusho?

So I have been scouring the internet for a good shihakusho pattern (just the black keikogi and the white juban, I can use the hakama from my kendo class).

Jun 5, 2022 · the fights in canon imply it more so with hollows. there are many instances of this, watch Ginjo vs Ichigo -> Ichigo getsuga was easily slice in half by Ginjo and then clashes with ichigo the next moment even before Ginjo got his boost he went head on with a Getsuga from Ichigo and came out only with slight burns.
