I ran across Civette's build back almost 3 yrs ago and wanted to do a ls swapped wrx ever since. In 2009 I did try to purchase a wrx roller, but deal fell through and ended up with a 93 rx7 Fd.

Aug 13, 2012 · V8, 9 are twinscroll, AVCS, throttle by cable, topfeed injectors, engines. There are no TGV's, the intake manifold is one piece. The spark plugs are specified one step colder, compared with other Sti. The exhaust is completely different/incompatible with the USDM WRX/Sti, all the way from the header to the downpipe.

Nov 17, 2012 · I did the v8 non dccd version in my 02 wrx before switching to the v8 dccd version. When I put the v8 prodrive dccd cluster in my car the rear diff light was on all of the time, and the dccd part just stayed off. Its a bad pic, but it shows how the dccd v8 looks like in my car.

Sep 17, 2007 · Some say the v7 is 15-20% larger than the USDM STI TMIC and that the v8 is the same size as the USDM STI TMIC. Others say the v7 is 15-20% larger than the USDM STI TMIC and that the v8 is the same size as the v7. Yet others say there is yet another version (v9) out there and that the v7/v8/v9 are all 15-20% bigger then the USDM STI TMIC.

Jul 11, 2016 · 2003 wrx w sti v8 If an 11MM pump is required, no problem, I will do this. AVCS will be used, I don't see any issue with this though as it will be triggered when I drive which I don't have an issue with.

Mar 3, 2008 · There's currently no known way to fix the ABS light problem with the 04 STi in 05 WRX setup. The only way would be to use an 05 STi cluster, but you'd end up moving more wires and having to modify one of the harness plugs in order for it to fit the STi cluster.

Aug 3, 2017 · Got the engine from jdmracingmotors. So far the car has a version 8 sti transmission with dccd (no controller hooked up right now) competition clutch pressure plate with stock sti flywheel (had my friend fly-cut it on a bridgeport) and an organic disc. I'll be retaining the electronic throttle body so that I can hopefully keep cruise control.

Jan 26, 2013 · Applies to 2008-2013 WRX and STI, 2008-2011 Impreza, and 2009-2013 Forester In Impreza/WRX/STI, you can see the connector with the VSS wire without needing to remove any trim panels. Factory wire color is PINK/GREEN. On 2012-2013 Impreza (not WRX or STI), VSS is pin 19 on the factory 20-pin radio harness.
