I've walked out with $40,000 cash and left $10,000 lighter than I went in. I've won $20,000 on one hand of Mississippi Stud and lost $3000 before I ever got a push.

Feb 26, 2007 · No doubt, "stingers" or cheater hooks help. But my money is on waiting for at least 30 seconds before you strike. And when you strike, drop your rod tip, slowly reel in all your slack until you feel the fish, and then hit him like there's no tomorrow. I use that method all the time and I rarely lose a fish.

Jun 21, 2007 · They are hard to come by. I've shopped for the V16 on the Mowdy www and the guy took it off and would not sell. Lost a mint one down in Flour Bluff that went on eBay for 6900. The there is the V18 hull down in Port A, but the guy stripped the motor, controls, gauges and is still asking too much for the hull, jack plate and trailer. Go figure!
